Popular comedian and musician, Carter Efe, has officially ended the year-long feud with renowned rapper Blaqbonez, putting an end to their heated dispute.
The feud revolved around a disagreement concerning royalties from their collaborative hit single, ‘Machala.’
The conflict started when Blaqbonez publicly called out Carter Efe on social media, accusing him of unfair treatment towards fellow artist Berri Tiga in the distribution of ‘Machala’ royalties.
Blaqbonez questioned Carter Efe’s intentions, pointing out the contradiction between his claims about the challenges of the music industry and his decision to allocate only 5% of the ‘Machala’ earnings to Berri Tiga.
Reflecting on the dispute, Carter Efe shared his perspective during an interview with MTV Base, shedding light on the conflict’s origins and its eventual resolution.
Carter Efe Said;
My beef with Blaqbonez wasn’t a cruise. It was a real quarrel. He find my trouble. I just dey my own for Twitter, him just come dey say, ‘If you think music is easy, why do you want to give Berri Tiga 5% ?’
“I was surprised. I didn’t reply him. My handler was replying him on Twitter and they were trading words. He thought I was the one.
But we have settled now. That’s guys for you. We are not like women; they envy each other ,” he explained.
