Music executive Diddy’s associate, Brendan Paul, has been charged with one felony count of drug possession. Paul, a former Syracuse men’s basketball player who worked as Diddy’s main assistant, was arrested in March at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport after federal agents raided the plane and found cocaine and marijuana candy. He was taken into custody at the same time federal agents were raiding Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles mansions.

The 25-year-old has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His lawyer, Brian Bieber, stated, “We will be dealing with this case in the courtroom, not the court of public opinion.”
Diddy has been under investigation by security agencies for alleged crimes including sex trafficking, illegal gun possession, and other offenses.

Paul’s close proximity to Diddy and knowledge of his activities have likely made him a person of interest in the ongoing investigation.
