In a much-anticipated celebrity boxing match dubbed “Chaos in the Ring,” controversial street-hop artist Portable, real name Badmus Okikiola, emerged victorious over his fellow entertainer and social media rival, Speed Darlington (Darlington Okoye).
The bout, held Saturday morning at the Balmoral Events Centre in Lagos, ended in a technical knockout (TKO) after Speed Darlington reportedly suffered an injury to his right wrist. The injury forced him out of the fight, with eyewitnesses confirming that he was taken out of the venue in an ambulance.
Despite the defeat, Speed Darlington took to Instagram shortly after the match to cry foul, claiming that Portable resorted to using ‘juju’ (traditional spiritual powers) to win the fight. He insisted he was ready to continue before the injury ended the bout.
The boxing match had attracted attention online days before the event, as both artists fueled tension with taunts and theatrical face-offs. With the outcome now decided, fans are left debating not just the winner—but the wild spectacle that unfolded.
