Leadership Excellence Award
Nominee must be a recognized leader who inspires and drives positive change. Should demonstrate outstanding character, vision, the ability to develop others, and a consistent track record of influencing their environment or industry through excellence, trust, and integrity.
Healthcare Excellence Award
Nominee should exhibit exceptional dedication to patient care, community health advancement, innovation in treatment, and compassionate service that goes beyond the call of duty.
Legal Excellence Award
Nominee must be a legal professional or advocate who has made a substantial impact by defending human rights, improving access to justice, promoting the rule of law, or influencing legal reforms in their community or field.
Best African Store of the Year Award
Open to African-owned stores operating in the U.S. for at least 3 years. Must show strong business performance, authentic cultural products, consistent customer satisfaction, and community involvement.
Business of the Year Award
Nominees must be established businesses demonstrating outstanding performance in revenue, innovation, employee satisfaction, customer service, and social impact.
Most Popular New Business of the Year Award
Open to businesses under 3 years old with rapid growth, strong brand presence, high customer ratings, innovative offerings, and active engagement both online and offline.
Youngest Entrepreneur Award
Awarded to a dynamic entrepreneur under 50 years old who exhibits innovation, leadership, integrity, and positive community influence, with proven growth and networking capabilities.
Show Promoter of the Year Award
Nominee must possess deep knowledge of entertainment, a solid track record in event success, strong organization and sales skills, and an extensive industry network.
Nollywood Award
Presented to an actor, actress, or filmmaker with a strong portfolio of quality productions, cultural influence, audience connection, and contributions to the advancement of the Nigerian film industry.
Fashion Designer of the Year Award
Nominee must display creativity, originality, excellence in construction and craftsmanship, fashion-forward thinking, and commercial potential. Should influence style trends and uphold quality standards.
Music Artist of the Year Award
Awarded to a music artist who has made significant strides in performance, originality, fan engagement, and cultural impact, with consistent musical output and influence in the industry.
Best Couple of the Year Award
Nominees must have been married for at least 5 years, visibly demonstrating love, unity, shared values, strong communication, and a positive influence on others in the community.
Most Fashionable Male Award
Presented to a male whose style reflects boldness, elegance, trend-awareness or a unique aesthetic. Must show attention to detail in grooming, accessories, and overall presentation.
Most Fashionable Female Award
Awarded to a stylish woman who exudes confidence, originality, and class in her fashion choices. Should be well-groomed with a signature or trend-forward style.
Best DJ of the Year Award
Nominee should demonstrate advanced DJ skills (mixing, beatmatching, etc.), strong crowd engagement, event presence, and active promotion of Afrobeat and Nigerian music.
Best Entertaining DJ of the Year Award
Focused on DJs who excel in audience interaction, live performance energy, playlist creativity, and entertainment value that leaves a lasting impression at events.
Outstanding Philanthropist Award
Nominee should be someone who demonstrates generosity through time, talent, or finances, with clear community impact, selflessness, and leadership in philanthropic efforts.
The Pathfinder of the Year Award
Awarded to an individual who is a pioneer in their field, showing resilience, innovation, mentorship, and creating new opportunities or solutions with lasting influence.
Senior Man of the Year Award
Nominee must be a well known person with an exemplary life story, continued community involvement, high moral standards, and a positive influence.
Youth of the Year Award
Nominee should be under 40 years of age with notable achievements in their career, business, or community in the past year. Must display leadership, personal growth, and civic engagement.
Excellence in Real Estate Development
Award honors trailblazing real estate companies connected to Nigerians in the Diaspora who are shaping skylines and transforming communities. This category celebrates developers that deliver world-class projects with innovation and sustainability, build trust through integrity and credibility, and create lasting impact by engaging Diaspora investors and uplifting communities. It is reserved for visionaries whose growth, reputation, and achievements set a new standard of excellence in real estate.
Organizational Excellence Award
Presented to an organization that has embraced innovation, consistency, and systems-driven impact. Should show effective leadership, measurable success, and community contribution.
Event of the Year Award
Awarded to the most outstanding party, show, or social gathering that showcased style, innovation, entertainment, décor, great food and music, and high-level execution.
Community Service Award (Not Voted)
This special recognition is awarded to an individual who has made remarkable contributions to their community through selfless service, leadership, and positive impact.
Nominees must be put forward by their organization which could be either churches, NGOs, social or cultural groups, or other organizations based on the individual’s outstanding service and commitment to the group’s mission or community goals.
Selection Criteria Include:

🎖️ This award is not open to public voting. Final selection is made by THE LIST AWARDS Committee in collaboration with iSEE Magazine, based on recommendations received.
Best Dressed of the Day Award (Event Day)
Given to an attendee of THE LIST AWARDS 2025 whose red carpet look is elegant, fashion-forward, event-appropriate, and captivating in both styling and presentation.
