Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has publicly declared her support for her younger colleague, Regina Daniels, who is reportedly going through a difficult family situation.
Taking to her social media page, Angela shared a heartfelt message calling for fairness, compassion, and forgiveness, saying that positions of power should never be used to oppress others.
She revealed that she has forgiven Regina Daniels despite their past feud and expressed deep concern for the younger actress during her current crisis.
“God’s power stands above all, greater than human strength or authority,” Angela wrote. “When God elevates us to a place of influence, it is not for control or oppression, but to uplift, inspire, and make a lasting positive impact on others.”
Addressing Regina directly, Angela said:
“Dear Gina, despite the hurt, misunderstandings, and distance that have come between us, I have chosen peace. It breaks my heart to see you go through difficult times, but my love for you remains steadfast.”
“No matter what has happened, my love as a mother will never change. You are, and will always be, my daughter — the one I have loved, watched blossom, and prayed for.”
Angela urged her fans to embrace forgiveness, describing it as a form of freedom and healing.
“I stand today not in anger, but in love. Not as a critic, but as a mother who prays earnestly for restoration and healing,” she added. “May God bring peace, love, and unity where there has been division.”
Angela signed off her message “With Love and Faith.”

Her statement comes months after a public clash between both actresses, following Angela’s criticism of Mercy Johnson, which led to online exchanges involving Regina Daniels.
Now, with reports that Regina’s brother, Sammy, was arrested allegedly at the instance of her estranged husband Ned Nwoko, Angela has chosen to put the past behind and speak up in support of the younger actress.
