Peter Okoye Blasts Twin Brother Paul in Scathing Open Letter

Peter Okoye, one half of the legendary Nigerian music duo P-Square, has released a searing open letter targeting his twin brother, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy. In the letter, Peter accuses Paul of ongoing disrespect, sabotage, and attempts to sway fans against him.

The letter, shared on Peter’s Instagram page on Monday, August 12, 2024, directly addresses statements Paul made in recent interviews. Paul had claimed responsibility for writing and singing 99% of P-Square’s songs, downplaying Peter’s contributions to the group. Peter expressed his frustration with Paul’s failure to recognize his songwriting efforts and the success of their collective work.

Peter also voiced his disappointment with Paul’s use of “I” and “me” when discussing P-Square, contrasting it with his own use of “we” and “us.” He accused Paul of trying to marginalize and belittle him and questioned whether their solo careers have matched the success they achieved together as P-Square.

This open letter comes amidst a long-standing feud between the brothers, which began with their highly publicized breakup in 2017. Peter also hinted at addressing the latest controversy involving their former manager and older brother, Jude, in connection with the EFCC. He promised to reveal his side of the story later today. The letter has ignited intense debate among fans and industry insiders, with many speculating about the future of P-Square and the brothers’ fractured relationship.
