Controversial Nigerian street-hop artist, Portable, has revealed that although Burna Boy generously gifted him N20 million, he has since ignored his attempts to stay in touch—especially regarding a potential music collaboration.
In a video clip making rounds on social media, Portable can be seen speaking candidly to friends about his frustration. He expressed that while he deeply appreciates the monetary gift, what he truly desires is a song feature, which he believes holds far greater long-term value.
“Person wey give me twenty million never reply me for Instagram. I no get him number. I dey call am, e no pick. I chat am, e no reply,” he said in the video.
Referring to Burna Boy as “Odogwu,” Portable noted that the Grammy-winning artist has not returned any of his messages or calls.
“He’s my helper, but I need a feature. Twenty million, I go spend am finish. But if I feature am, I don blow,” he added.
Portable also described Burna Boy as “stingy with replies,” saying he has not even received a simple greeting or follow-back from the Afrobeats star on Instagram.
The singer emphasized that while money can be spent and forgotten, a collaboration with an artist of Burna Boy’s stature would leave a lasting impact on his career.
