Popular rapper and content creator, Darlington Okoye, widely known as Speed Darlington, has taken legal action against the fintech platform, Palmpay, for their unauthorized use of his image in an advertisement.
On August 21, 2023, Palmpay shared an advertisement on their official X account featuring an image of the renowned singer.
In response to this violation of his image rights, the Imo-state-born artist has issued a legal notice through his legal representatives, demanding a substantial sum of 200 million as compensation from the loan company’s management.
Speed Darlington took to his Instagram page to expose this unlawful act and urged Palmpay to rectify the situation promptly before he pursues further legal actions.
