Nigerian music sensation Tiwa Savage is set to make her film debut on Prime Video on May 10th, and she’s accompanying it with a star-studded soundtrack album, “Water & Garri”. The 10-track album features collaborations with top artists like Asa, Olamide, Reekado Banks, Ayra Starr, and more.

Tiwa Savage, known as the “Queen of Afrobeat”, has been a dominant force in the music industry for over a decade. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, she began her music career in the UK, singing backup for artists like George Michael and Mary J. Blige. She returned to Nigeria in 2010 and signed with Mavin Records, releasing her debut album “Once Upon a Time” in 2013.
Since then, Tiwa Savage has released several critically acclaimed albums and singles, including “R.E.D”, “Sugarcane”, and “Koroba” (feat. Talib Kweli). She’s won numerous awards, including Best African Act at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards and Best Female MVP at the 2019 SoundCity MVP Awards.
